What are diagnostics/therapies like?

Our diagnostics and therapies are non-invasive (they do not hurt!). Our friendly staff will be by your side to assist you and answer any questions. For more information, please check out our New Patients page.

A typical neurological session is 120 minutes or less. 
A typical chiropractic session is 30 minutes or less. 

Keep in mind that each individual's treatment will be unique and can vary in session length.

Are there any age restrictions for patients seeking treatment at Better Brain & Body?

There are no age restrictions at Better Brain & Body. Any and all may come to our clinic to optimize their health. 

What is the initial cost of treatment?

As each patient's needs vary, the total treatment cost will depend on which diagnostics and therapies are performed. We encourage each new patient to have a discovery call with Dr. Brown so she can decide which diagnostics to perform on the first visit. Do you accept health insurance?

We are considered 'out of network' and do not accept assignments. Payment is due at the time of service. 

Chiropractic patients: We can file chiropractic services with Medicare only. 

We do not participate in insurance billing for neurological services, allowing us to keep our patient fees reasonable. 

Where does my reimbursement check go?

If your insurance company decides to reimburse you, they will send your reimbursement to whatever address you keep on file. We can credit your account or write you a personal check if we receive it at the office.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, personal checks, HSA / FSA, and all major credit cards. If you need assistance with financing, please visit our financing page for more options or call our front desk at 704.752.8100

Do you offer payment plans?

We do offer payment plans on a case-by-case basis. However, once you start a payment plan, that plan must be paid in full before starting a new payment plan.

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need a referral to become a patient. However, if you have a referral, we will work with your current team of health and wellness professionals to provide the most personalized and comprehensive care possible.

What are the clinic's hours of operation? 

Our hours are Monday - Thursday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. And Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
